REQUIRED COUNSELING

All Reverse Mortgage Programs require that you attend a class offered by an approved (by HUD) third party non affiliated agency.

We strongly recommend you take an adult family member, financial advisor or trusted friend to the one hour counseling session.

• Lender will provide you with a list of agencies to choose from
• One hour class. This session can also be done by phone
• You receive a certificate after attending class
• Once the counseling is complete you will receive a certificate that must accompany your loan package for final approval.
• If using a power of attorney, they must attend as well.
